Grade 5. Salary £22,911 to £26,999 per annum pro rata

32.5 hours per week, term time plus five days

We want to appoint a highly motivated Senior Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to work closely with teaching and support staff to enhance the delivery of the national curriculum.

The successful candidate will support teachers by providing cover during PPA time and short term absences. They will also be required to work alongside class teachers to plan and deliver interventions. 

Working closely with the class teacher, the Senior TA will also assist in the assessments of children’s progress and maintain accurate records throughout. 

This post provides a rare opportunity to work with pupils across all the key stages.

The successful candidate must have an NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants, or an equivalent qualification / experience.  Applicants will be experienced in preparing and delivering resources which contribute to pupils learning objectives and be able to effectively use ICT to support learning. Excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
