Year 4C - Miss Cooke
Welcome to Year 4C!
Our topic for Spring 2 is ‘Rainforests’
We will look at the layers of the rainforest and its animal inhabitants. We will study its unique climate. We will also look at some of the conservation issues surrounding the destruction of rainforest habitats.
We took part in a 'Rainforest Adventurer’ afternoon workshop, in school, on Monday 25th February. The workshop involved the children meeting various animals. See our photographs below.
We will be reading 'The Great Kapok Tree'.

Visit to East Crompton St James' Church
Our RE topic for Autumn 1 was 'Are all churches the same'? We visited EC St James' Church and were welcomed by Reverend Dave. We looked for items such as the pews, the lectern, the altar, the font and the noticeboard. We spent some time sitting quietly and experiencing the stillness taking in what we could see, hear, smell and touch. We considered what we each thought to be the most important part of the church.
