Dear Parent/ Carer,

Attendance for this week

We are pleased to say that most of our classes have achieved almost 100% attendance this week. Thank you!

Reception Class

We still have some places available for our Reception class this year. Please inform any friends or family who may still be looking for a place or a school closer to home. We would love to see some more children join us! Our new reception children joined us this week and we are pleased to see how well they are settling in already.

Medical appointments

If you need to collect your child for an appointment after 2:45pm, but before their allocated home time slot, please give the school office as much notice as possible so that we can inform their class teacher.

Please show your appointment card/ letter to a member of staff outside, who will be able to radio through to the classroom and ask for your child to be released early.

School Dinners

The new menus (starting with week 3 next week) have been added to the school website on the link below:

https://www.stgeorges-primary.co.uk/parents/useful-information/school-lunch-menu

The page also has information regarding the prices and how to apply for Free School Meals.

BASC

If your child is currently attending before & after school club, we are working as fast as we can to inform parents of the price for September (due to the delayed opening) and provide you with your payment plans. We will be in touch with you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

COVID

We have added a page to our website with a document from the Cranmer Education Trust regarding managing COVID 19 in our schools. It includes guidance on when you should isolate or get tested. Please don’t send your children into school if they have any symptoms.

Crompton House

I have attached a poster for Crompton House's virtual open evening, which may be of interest to our year 5 and 6 parents.

Have a lovely weekend,

Kind regards,
