Friday Update Email 18th September 2020
30 September 2020 (by Sasha Wedge (swedge))
Dear Parent/ Carer,
Thank you for your continued support this week. Despite the many challenges, the children have settled in very well and our attendance has remained very high.
Please can we remind all parents to be considerate of our neighbours and not park across their driveways when collecting and dropping off children.
Please don’t arrive too early for your time slot and leave as quickly as possible to free up spaces for the next group of parents. It would be very helpful if some parents could park further away from school and walk the rest of the journey.
By working together, we can ensure these arrangements work as smoothly as possible and retain a good relationship with our local community.
At this time our car park remains closed for the health and safety of pedestrians on the main driveway.
Siblings from other schools self-isolating
To clarify; if a child has been sent home by their high school due to a positive case in their year group, they must not be brought onto our school site when their parents are collecting other children.
The parents can continue to access our site as they don’t need to isolate, and their other children can remain in our school, unless the isolating child then begins to have symptoms of COVID 19. If this happens, the whole household must then isolate.
Most of the payment plans have now been sent out for Before & After School Club. If your child is attending and you’re still unsure how much you need to pay, please speak to Miss Monaghan.
New asthma forms have been sent home to parents with children on our asthma list. These must be completed and returned as soon as possible. If your child has asthma and you haven’t received a form (and you haven’t already filled one in this month) please contact us.
Homework and home learning
Please find attached a letter from Mrs Ross regarding our upcoming homework and home learning arrangements.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Miss S Wedge
